Fee for Service and The Optimal Health Care Strategy

Dr. Harper strives to give the best care possible. In comparison, health insurance companies are more concerned about making a profit. For example, the average health insurance plan allows for only three fifteen minute visits a year to see a primary care provider who may or may not be a medical doctor. This is the reason why most doctors give so little time to their patients. In contrast, The Optimal Health Care Strategy allows you to see Dr. Harper who is board certified in Internal Medicine either in person or via virtual telemedicine for as many visits as necessary to meet your individual health care needs with a monthly fee ranging from $100-$180. Also, no copays or deductibles will be charged for these visits. We also offer a self pay arrangement per visit with charges based upon the level of care rendered. Research shows that the average annual healthcare cost of the patients who have a primary care provider was more than 27% lower than those without a primary care provider. The Optimal Health Care Strategy will not only lower your total health care costs but will also help you to achieve the optimal health care for you. We also accept federal Medicare.

Telehealth Visits are Treated the same as Office Visits

There will be a charge depending on the size of the record or transfer. Records will begin at $30, letter requests will begin at $35 and other requests will begin at $50.

Refills and initial prescriptions will only be handled at the time of the office visit.

All queries require a chart review and become part of
your permanent medical record. For questions that required a yes, no response, the fee is $35. For e-mail questions that require more than a yes or no response, the fee will begin at $75 depending on the time involved in responding. We will try to respond within 2-3 business days of receipt.

This is provided as a guideline since individual visits may vary depending on what is involved and whether or not an office procedure is performed.
